Growing Leadership, One Meetup at a Time

NACAR

Every quarter, something special happens at NACAR. Their Leadership Meetups bring together Design Leads, Managers, and C-Suite leaders to explore the art and practice of leadership in creative teams. Over the past year, we've been honored to co-design and facilitate these gatherings with NACAR, nurturing a shared leadership culture grounded in feedback, purpose, communication, and, most recently, goal-setting.

Nacar’s leadership meetups are spaces of reflection, alignment, and momentum a collective pause to ask: how are we growing as leaders?

Objectives

01. Support the ongoing development of NACAR’s leadership culture

02. Facilitate shared understanding of leadership principles and practices

03. Strengthen communication, feedback, and alignment among leaders

04. Create shared language and frameworks to anchor team growth

05. Encourage goal-setting and strategic clarity through facilitated dialogue

A well-balanced space for growth and connection

Each 4-hour Leadership Meetup is intentionally crafted to balance content, dialogue, and experiential learning.

Feedback as a Habit

Through our “Feedback Magic” methodology, leaders practiced giving and receiving feedback grounded in emotional intelligence and shared agreements.

Goal Setting & Clarity

Most recently, we co-designed a workshop to support NACAR’s leaders in defining meaningful team objectives, fostering ownership, transparency, and strategic alignment.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

During communication skills sessions for leaders, we examined what really makes teams evolve: retrospective practices, team alignment, and open feedback loops come along with a deeper understanding on how communication is structured and affects our decision-making processes.

Shared Purpose

We explored purpose not just as a concept, but as a driver of motivation and cohesion defining why we lead and what value we want to create together.

Impact & Reflections

Leaders come not just to learn, but to reconnect, with each other, with their purpose, and with the direction they want to shape.

As Belén Suárez, Head of People & Culture, shared:

“From the very beginning, Verbalima brought an incredible passion to the work. These sessions are moments we genuinely look forward to as a team. We always leave with a smile, a reflection, and a takeaway. Thank you for creating such meaningful experiences and for always adapting to our evolving context. Let's keep growing together!”
